What is she currently doing?

Contracting/consulting Ministry of pacific island affairs- communication specialist- stakeholder engagements, open governments Masters’ program Conservation and pest infestation- behavioral change. Local governments and indigenous groups.

New Questions around democracy

Interested in what is going on in the pacific especially in Fiji. Customary forms of deliberation- need for more research in some of these small nations that get engulfed in all of this.

Suggestions for the international Network and connection with the Foundation

Difficult to keep in touch. I find it difficult to get on the online forums. I like personal interaction. Difficult with the time difference. Is there an easier way in which people can post snippets of what they arer doing. Can the Foundation look at the work people are doing and out us in touch through that? How do we know about work fellows did before or after I was there. I have not gone back since my fellowship.

Quotes/Insights

I learnt a lot from my experience with customary forms research years back, unfortunately nothing happened afterwards. I have really enjoyed the work that i have done with Kettering, but perhaps that work has not been priority.
